Christine Marie Heath has over 20 years of professional stage experience in opera, musical theatre, and orchestral concert work. Her versatility, knowledge, and valued reputation throughout the music industry continues to propel her career as a teaching artist.
Christine currently serves as an Adjunct Voice Professor at New Jersey City University and at The College of Saint Rose in Albany. She also teaches voice, acting, and musical theatre workshops at New Windsor Music Academy.
Rather than draw from one specific methodology, Christine’s philosophy for performance training is to celebrate each student’s individuality, aid them in creating their own personal truth, and allow them to produce a healthy, sustainable sound rooted in presence.
Christine’s performing experience spans from classical soprano characters such as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro and Despina in Cosi fan tutte to intense belting roles like Eva Peron in Evita and Lilli Vanessi in Kiss Me Kate.
“Love the art in yourself, not yourself in the art.”
